Does reading that and hearing her say it in the video come across as humourous? Did you think she was telling a joke?
After a period of being widely mocked for her ludicrous - and obviously sincere - claims...
From the “anything goes when the media regurgitates every word you say” department comes this latest insanity from a woman who isn’t making any points among thinking people. Of course, we’ve heard these sorts of doomsday forecasts before...
She now claims - check the video again - that it was all a [sophisticated] joke. She isn't very bright, as if anyone other than her voters believes that?
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said that she was joking around when she claimed the world was going to end in 12 years if we do not take serious action against Climate Change, a declaration she’s been widely criticized over. The 29-year-old socialist mocked the Republican Party for taking her claim about the end of the world seriously, which she suggested was a combination of “dry humor + sarcasm.”
So remember, if anyone tells you that we have 12 years to save the climate/planet it is a joke.
